Mission Conference

Highlight of the Week: Mission Conference!

We had a wonderful meeting last Tuesday with Elder and Sister Bednar. It was probably one of the coolest experiences of my life. "You're probably expecting that I'm going to give a talk, and you're going to take notes, right? Well... we're going to do something a little different today." We then had a really interactive conversation, first with him asking us questions, and then letting us ask him questions. The spirit was so strong, and we all learned so much! I asked him a question as well, and as he was answering, all of a sudden I was faced with the dilemma, because I wanted to take notes on what he was saying, but I also didn't feel like breaking eye-contact with an apostle. So I opted to take notes while keeping eye contact, which means that for about 3 minutes my notes aren't super legible. I needed Grandma Jones' shorthand skills!

It was also really good to see everyone in the mission. I am including a couple of pictures. The first one is of me and all of my former companions (except Sister Thaden, who is already home). The second is of all the sisters in the mission. Aren't we all cute? :) The pink sweater I'm wearing is from Sister Römer, for my birthday.

Well, lots of other cool stuff happened this week, but we're short on time today! Needless to say, miracles are happening, and the work is going well! I love you all!
